Fishing tips
- Timiskaming's big-water walleye respond to trolled spinner rigs on wind-blown points.
- Massive shoreline drops — use quality electronics.
- Focus on current breaks and eddies for walleye. The deep holes near Petawawa Point hold big catfish in summer. Night fishing with cut bait is deadly.
- Access: Free parking at Petawawa Point day-use area. Large gravel lot with boat trailer access.
