Fishing tips
- Tannin-stained water = bright and loud lures win; think firetiger and chartreuse.
- Post-spawn walleye stack in current seams below hydro dams.
- Work the rocky points and drop-offs for walleye. Evening bite is typically best. Perch school near the sandy shallows — great for kids.
- Access: Free public access with gravel parking. Small boat launch.
